Residential Services Director
Residential Services Program
The Residential Services Director is responsible for the operation of the adult Residential Services program which includes support of participants in assisted living homes, supervised apartments, and independent apartments and homes. The FRA residential program serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring residents receive the needed supports to live full lives, as independently as possible, in their community.
Applicants must have proven leadership experience in human services and be well-versed in program administration, planning and fiscal management.

Project Supervisor
FRA Contracts
As Project Supervisor you may be assigned to any of four federal contracts associated with the AbilityOne program. Supervisors provide support, training and accommodations for individuals who are employed to do custodial services and grocery stocking services. FRA’s Small Business Operations employs individuals experiencing significant disability through this program.

A Supported Living Specialist (SLS) provides assistance so that individuals receive the needed supports to live as independently as possible in their residential home. A Chore Provider assists seniors with household chores, including housework, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments.

Taking care of a loved one experiencing a disabling condition such as Alzheimer’s can be taxing. Respite Care allows family and friends who are caregivers to have a break from caregiving. A Respite Care Provider steps in to support the emotional, physical and health needs of individuals and gives the primary caregiver a break.

FRA’s Senior Services Department is here to help our seniors age in place for as long as possible. The office coordinator is often the first contact seniors and families have with FRA Senior Services and ensures that individuals and families receive support and direction in providing care for a senior experiencing Alzheimer’s disease, related dementia or physical frailty.

National Families Caregiver Support Program Coordinator
The Senior Services National Families Caregiver Support Program Coordinator (Whew! That’s a long title – let’s shorten it to NFCS Program Coordinator) assists families in caring for a family member experiencing Alzheimer’s and related dementias, as well as conditions of frailty.
The Program Coordinator helps develop the individual Care Plan, including identifying needed services such as chore support, respite care and Adult Day services. The coordinator then works to ensure services are delivered!

The Community Development Specialist assists the Community Development Director with the planning and implementation of agency events and fundraising programs, as well as a variety of community outreach activities and the production of agency publications.
Fairbanks Resource Agency has the honor of producing the Midnight Sun Run 10K and receives proceeds from this community event. The Community Development Specialist has a significant role in race production, including the Couch to 10K training program leading up to the race.
FRA maintains a year-round presence in the community through a variety of community and agency events such as City Sampler – A Taste of Fairbanks, the FRA Annual Gala, the United Way of the Tanana Valley, Pick. Click. Give., and many other events. The Community Development Specialist assists in the planning and implementation of these campaigns and events. (It’s a really fun job!)

Adult Day Center Aide/Intern
Exxon Mobile provides funding for our Senior Services Department to hire an intern to assist at the Adult Day Center (ADC).
The ADC Aide helps in the planning and scheduling of recreational activities, activities of daily living, and leisure activities for the seniors that come to the Adult Day Center. The aide also assists with volunteers, such as Pet Companions!

Our accounting department stays pretty busy! The Staff Accountant maintains financial records for the
agency including accounts payable, purchase orders and payroll processing. This position reports to the
